Welcoming the New Friends of ASEAN

Indonesia's chairmanship of ASEAN in 2023 provides many new perspectives for the progress and future of the region. A number of cooperation agreements within and between regions, especially in the Indo-Pacific region, were signed during the the Summits, namely the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara on 9-11 May 2023 and the 43rd ASEAN Summit at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta on 5-7 September 2023.
