On 15-18 February 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a Public Engagement Roadshow in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The activity was aimed to increase the general public's understanding of ASEAN, and to prepare Labuan Bajo as the venue for the upcoming 42nd ASEAN Summit.

The series of activities included fun and interactive sessions such as the ASEAN Goes to School/Campus and Public Diplomacy @ School. Other activities include the socialization of the ASEAN Teaching Material Book, dialogue with tourism stakeholders, and coordination meetings with the Provincial Government of East Nusa Tenggara as well as the West Manggarai Regency.
