ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Statement on the Earthquake in Turkiye and Syria, 7 February 2023.

1. ASEAN is saddened by the tragic loss of lives and extensive damage to properties caused by the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria.
2. ASEAN expresses its heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the Governments and peoples of the affected countries, especially the families of the victims of the earthquake.
3. ASEAN affirms its solidarity with the Governments and peoples of Turkiye and Syria in these trying times and stands ready to extend its assistance to the relief efforts.
